An afternoon at the Lazy Wyvern (open RP)

[Tregarde]

It was a hot summer day in Dion, with only a few faint wisps of clouds far above, though a cool breeze kept things pleasant for those in the shade or indoors. One of those days when no one seems to be in a hurry. The smell of grass and flowers brought a pleasant aspect to city, at least on the side of town where the breeze came to first.

Tregarde took a casual sip of the glass of white wine. It was a rare day with little troubles and no responsibilities that could not be dealt with later. She sat at a table in the Lazy Wyvern, next to a window opened to let in the breeze. She had her hair in a braid. Unlike most of her race who preferred tight clothing, Tregarde usually wore loose fitting articles, though cut to reveal just enough to be suggestive. It was a time to relax, and she was going to do so even if it killed her.

Some of the others in the Guard were there also. The table was covered in their drinks and a tray filled mostly with sliced fruits that were refreshing on such a day, along with some bread and cheese. She dipped a finger into a glass of water and flicked a couple drops at the person a couple seats over. “You looked a bit warm,” she said with a faint smirk.

The day had seemed like an eternity already, as the sun approched it spot overhead Dion. Kiyu walked into the south gates of Dion, sunken from a lenghty travel from Hiene. Even his feline companion, Kai, didn't have his normal bounce in his step as the unusual hot day when one was out of the shade. Kiyu wandered through the streets and ended up infromt of the Lazy Wyvern. kai, gently prodded Kiyu and pushed him towards the entrance.

"Alright fellow," Kiyu stated "I guess we have time and the shade will help us recover faster also."

As Kiyu enterend the tavern, he noticed it was sparcly populated, probably morse for the earl time of day rather than the service or the food and drinks. He slowly lowered himself into a schair by the bar and quickly ordered a nice Dion port for himself and a chilled bowl of milk for Kai and a little fresh tuna on the side, somehthing they both might share.

With the orders placed and be able to relax, Kiyu turned his attention to the patrons and at once noticed a young Dark elf staring out the window as the breeze twirled her hair about the nape of her neck. She looked familiar, but he didn't think he had bumped into her through his journies. She possibly was alliened with his clan The Puppet Masters, what was her clan he thought ...O yes the Abyssal Guard.

[Christana]

"Blast and darn and drat and all other woeful curses in anyone's general direction!" she cried out in frustration. Slamming the book in front of her shut she set it aside then thought a bit. "I need a drink...and some time away from this stuff."

She walked out of the guardhouse and scowled as the sun beat down on her. Fanning herself absentmindedly she nearly ran into several people. This had been a horrid day for her and she was hoping some time at the wyvern would make it much better. First complications arose during construction of the vault...then she got hung up in her investigation of the mysterious cult the temple had asked them to look into. To make matters worse she had her own personal problems to deal with.

"Sorry, sorry," she muttered as she nearly knocked over a bowl of fruits sitting at the end of a fruit stand. She shook her head and tried to get ahold of herself. A few more turns and bumps into people later and she spotted the wyvern up ahead. She sighed with relief, the promise of shade and a drink helping lift her spirits a little.

As she approached the tavern she undid the ponytail in her hair and shook her hair out, running her hand through it to untangle any knots that might be in there. she also smoothed out her 'robe' as others like to call it and took a deep breath. Then with a smirk she walked and and hollered, "Ok, who here is going to buy me a drink!", a playful smile on her face.

[Tregarde]

Tregarde saw Jess from the window and smiled as she approached the Wyvern. She waved at Jess and called out, "Hey there, sexy. Why don't you come over here, " she patted a seat to one side, "and we'll see about getting you that drink."

[Makora]

:wiping the water off of his face he looks at Tre and sighed: Tre, I'n not warm..I'm hot! And by hot I mean sexy. So you'll need alot more water than that to cool me down. Speaking of cool...I am. And I need another Ale.

[Christana]

She waved and smiled at tre, walking over to her, purposefully going slowly and making sure to give a little extra sway to her hips. When she finally got there she sat next to her and wrapped an arm around Tre,kissing her softly, then pulled back. "How are you doing beautiful?"

[kiyu]

Kiyu sipped at his port and watched the table by the window. These allies of his seemed to be an intresting bunch. He had not been introduced to their company yet but knew sooner or later he would have to. As trust was a hard thing to extend with any person, but took long time to build, Kiyu would stay in the shadows and observe for a bit longer and see what these folks were about.

Kai had finished his milk and know cruled up next to Kiyu playfully tapping him with his paw to get his belly scratched. "ok ok," mumbled Kiyu "I will scratch you my friend, but allow me some rest also."

As he gently stroked the cats below a soft purr errupted from the cat, Kiyu held his port in his other hand and conitued to observe the window table.

[Tregarde]

Tregarde slipped an arm around Jess as she received the kiss with a smile. “Better now that you’re here,” she replied softly.

She then turned her head towards Makora. “And what the hell are you talking about?” She flicked another finger of water at him.

[Sharae]

Under the hot sun a figure strode through the hills near Dion, her movements lithe and proud, the light striking the dagger that she toyed with, flickering as the blade went from one hand to the other.

Sharae was tanned from the days walk, her red hair lank with sweat, her eyes bright and alert. And she was smiling, ever so slightly. Something had changed in her since she had been to the lands of the Dark Elves.

Dressed down to her shorts and a flimsy sleaveless top that was cut up so as to expose her midriff (and ever so slightly bloodstained on the edges from the wound it had been cut up to expose quite some time before) she made her way toward Dion.

[Makora]

Wiping the newly flicked water drop off of his face he sighed and said "I don't even know what I'm talking about half the time"

[Tregarde]

Tregarde ran the fingers of a hand through Jess' hair, she always liked it when Jess let her hair lose. "Nice to see you out of that dreary tomb. How's your studies going?"

[Christana]

*sighs and rolls her eyes* Don't get me started. way too many antiquated things. one phrase in one book leads to another that leads to three others that...*sighs again* don't worry about it love it really is frustrating right now.

[Tregarde]

She let the hand slide down Jess’ back and around her waist, then gave a slight squeeze. “I’ll be able to help out more once I’ve studied some more myself.” Tregarde didn’t like going though the old books any more than Jess at the moment, but she knew that the more knowledge she had, the better she could help Jess and the Guard. Of couse, Jess had many years of study already, while she was only just beginning. “But of course if there is anything I can do, all you have to do is open that pretty mouth of yours and tell me what needs to be done.”

[Christana]

Weeeeeeeeeell, now that you mention it *she said with a sly smirk* I could use a shoulder rub...maybe even a back rub...maybe a little more.

[Makora]

Sipping his Ale quietly he listened to the exchange between the two Elves.

He rolled his eyes and said to himself. "I think I need a back rub also." Standing up he looked around the tavern than down at the two Elves "I'm gonna go and uhh...have a smoke" without waiting for an answer he headed for the door.
